This workshop is led by the Functional Clinical Nutritionist BB Beba.  ADHD can significantly impact a child's overall wellbeing, school success, social life and more.  With the high numbers of ADHD diagnosis in kids, recently there has been an increased attention on Functional/Integrative Nutrition for managing ADHD symptoms, either as a therapy alone or to support medication. While ADHD is diagnosed as a spectrum; there are some dietary strategies that can lower symptom severity, and some supplements have been found to be effective.

In this 1.5 hr workshop, we will learn about nutritional ways how we can help our kids (and ourselves too) with ADHD to listen, focus and act better which increases the person's and family's life quality. We will discuss what components "detox for ADHD" has and how such a detox can help in variety of ADHD symptoms (including inattentiveness, because not all ADHD cases have hyperactivity). We will share some researched as well as tried and true supplements helping kids and adults around the globe maintain healthy and happy lives.

We will sip some healthy drinks that naturally help focus, learn & ask questions and leave with a clean eating + kid approved recipes handout.

BB Burcu Beba is about to graduate as Doctor of Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. She manages her company Nutritious Mom to help kids & families thrive through healthy personalized diets and supporting lifestyle. ADHD in adolescents is a special focus of hers as she's also working on a research project and a paper on this topic.
