Acupuncture by Dr. Brittany Mekeel

For as long as I can remember I’ve had a fascination with how the human body works. I also have a passion for helping people feel and be the best version of themselves. I developed an
interest in Chinese medicine and acupuncture working as an acupuncture assistant many years ago.  It was my first experience receiving an acupuncture treatment as well as witnessing many others receive treatments for various ailments. I was really interested in learning how this medicine aided in the healing process of many individuals and all for different reasons. I love the idea of being able to help so many different types of ailments, and most importantly, help them naturally.

I believe in the Chinese Medicine philosophy of not just masking the problem area but getting down to the root of the problem and healing from the inside out. I treat each patient with the

belief that every single person should be treated as an individual and I cater treatment protocols to their individual and specific needs.

Nothing gives me greater joy quite like hearing the words “you helped me feel better”.

I love educating my patients about the various benefits of receiving acupuncture and what they can do on their own in conjunction with the treatments to help them reach their health and wellness goals. Your healthcare journey starts with you; I am just here to aid along the journey. I am passionate about learning how each individual patient’s body is functioning and utilizing Traditional Chinese Medicine to get it functioning at a balanced level. I love witnessing and being a part of a patient’s healthcare journey towards a better life.
